Welcome to Department of Law , Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into degree programmes starting from August 2009 in the following fields in the University of The Gambia :

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

• 5 Credits at GCE/WASSCE including English Language and Mathematics in not more than two sittings.
  
  
• 1.1 A Diploma in Law is considered as an added advantage.
  
  
• All Bachelor's Degree holders from recognized institutions are eligible.
  
  
• Candidates with HTC, HDA and HND may be admitted if they possess 4 credit level passes in the relevant subject area. (Where appropriate, candidates may be expected to pass an interview)

In addition to satisfying entrance and matriculation requirements, candidates must satisfy the programme of study requirements, advice on which may be obtained from the Students Affairs Office in the University Administration Building (Tel:4 395067).

Application Forms
Application forms may be obtained from the University Administration Building , MDI Road , Kanifing on payment of a non-refundable fee of D150.00 and returned to the University not later than Friday 27 th July 2007.

Students who have completed Grade 12 and are awaiting results may also apply to be considered for January admission.
